Andrew Purvis
Andrew Purvis is the Curator at Adelaide Central Gallery, attached to Adelaide Central School of Art. In addition, he is an artist, educator, and arts writer. His writing has been published by Art & Australia, ArtLink, Art Collector, and various other publications. He was awarded the inaugural SALA Patron Art Writing award, and he recently contributed to the 2021 SALA monograph, devoted to the work of Roy Ananda. Andrew is also the co-founder, along with Sasha Grbich, of the Department of Noncorporeal Affairs, a paranormal research and community wellness body which worked in conjunction with City of Adelaide Archives. Andrew lives and works on Kuarna Land.
