Darren Siwes
Darren Siwes was born in Adelaide, South Australia in 1968. Studies include BA Visual Arts (Hons), SA School of Art, University of South Australia, Adelaide, and MA Fine Art, Chelsea School of Art, London, United Kingdom (2003).
Darren was Senior Lecturer in Painting and Drawing, Tauondi Incorporated, South Australia from 1997-01. Exhibitions include Long Way Home: a celebration of 21 years of Yunggorendi First Nations Centre, Flinders University Art Gallery, Adelaide (2012); Half Light: Portraits from Black Australia, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney (2009); nEUclear reactions, Centro de Arte Caja de Burgos, CAB, Spain (2006); Prague Biennale-National Gallery, Prague, Czech Republic (2005).
